Although AI Can’t Replace Human Intuition, It’s Time to Truly Embrace It in 2025

We’re all at risk of being left behind. I know it sounds cliché, but it’s true—AI is everywhere, and it’s only gaining momentum. While I was initially sceptical, I’ve found that tools like ChatGPT and AI image generators can be real time-savers when used strategically to free up time that can be better spent elsewhere. 2025 is the year of AI.

AI excels at expanding on existing ideas and polishing work, but it should not be used to create ideas or build a media strategy.


Although AI is always improving, it’s not perfect... yet. Take this recent experience as an example: I’m a huge fantasy football player, and last month I was stuck on a critical team selection for one of my playoff games. Should I go with D’Andre Swift or Garrett Wilson? Neither had been standout performers in recent prior games, so I asked ChatGPT for advice.


To my surprise, it got a key detail wrong—ChatGPT thought Swift was still playing for the Eagles, even though he’d moved to the Bears for the 2024 season. That little mistake showed me it was really up to my gut feel to make the final selection decision. Ironically, the rest of my players scored so well that it didn’t matter which of Swift or Wilson I chose (light flex, humble brag), but this is a perfect example of how AI still needs the support of human intuition to make some decisions.


This story illustrates something crucial: AI is an incredible tool, but it lacks that irreplaceable human touch—our intuition, creativity, and lived experience. That’s why I’ve always backed my own analysis and optimisations over some of the earlier advertising AI platforms like Scibids or Albert.


There are some newer AI platforms that are truly ground-breaking, and one in particular is steadily making its way across the globe. I’ll share more about that soon in an upcoming announcement, so stay tuned.


In the meantime, here’s my advice: embrace AI. Take advantage of the free courses out there to better understand the tools and how they can enhance your work. We’re living in the age of information—don’t let it pass you by.

AI is evolving rapidly, and it’s here to stay. But no matter how advanced it gets, remember this: it’s a tool, not a replacement for human ingenuity. The best results come when we combine the two.
